this is one of my favorite places to eat in the water in Wilmington. The view is unbeatable, cocktails are scrumptious and the food is pretty good too. Service has ALWAYS been good here too. Absolutely recommend for anybody new to or visiting Wilmington.

The drinks and ambiance here are the real reasons to go. The food was good but nothing amazing. My boyfriend and I went at night and the place is lit up so nicely. Very nice vibes. We both had really delicious cocktails. I got the spicy pineapple marg. I think he got like a coconut mojito. The food was just okay. Nothing special.

One of our family's favorite restaurants. I think we make it a point to come here on every visit to Wilmington. The food is why we keep coming back. This place could be a dive and we wouldn't notice (much). We love the menu. Service has always been top notch. From the hosts/hostess, to the wait staff. All of our encounters have been great. Love the ambiance. The restaurant overlooks a marina, there is seating at the bar, additional seating overlooking giant windows to the marina, and seating outside along the waterfront/boardwalk. I hate parking here. Not knocking a star for that, but be prepared to have to pay. Five stars for the food!

We came here on our 30 Anniversary!! The cauliflower bites were great we like the sauce on the side and dip in ranch The salmon was great!!I compared it to Ruth Chris The fried oysters are a hit as well one of our favorites for sure

Great atmosphere, service was on point and food was fresh and flash fried perfectly!! Lacy was awesome. She was very attentive and knew when to check in without interrupting the evening. If in the Wrightsville area and looking for fresh seafood with great views this is your spot. Items are a little more expensive than other local restaurants but the service & waterway views make it worth it.

ETA: my goddaughter remembered the servers name! Her name is Hailey. Hailey, thank you very much for being so awesome! We usually only go to Bluewater with family or on fancy date nights. But my delightful god daughter wanted to try it. The server was so awesome! She really went out of her way to make sure my god daughter was comfy and happy. The food is always delicious, the ambiance alone is enough of a reason to get drinks and dinner here, especially at sunset on the beautiful ICW. Fantastic service, delicious seafood, the best crab cakes on Wrightsville, and an amazing view outside. If you dine outside in the months of October through April, please bring a coat or wrap at night, as it gets chilly. One of their signature cocktails will also warm you up! We absolutely adore Bluewater. I'm sorry I cannot remember our servers name. she deserves a standing ovation in my opinion! She is a fairly tall, svelte blonde woman, and extremely good at her job. Thank you for being patient with kids!

The place was easy to find, they have their own free parking which is awesome. The wait was supposed to be 30 min but was actually only about 15, and they text you so you're not stuck there waiting. The food was really awesome, my kiddos loved the lobster mac and cheese. Overall the place was clean and everyone was very kind, the view would have been nice but it was dark outside and super bought inside so essentially the windows were just mirrors. I bet it's really nice during the day. Definitely will be back.

We were visiting Wrightsville Beach a few weeks ago and our friend in Wilmington insisted that we visit! A+ (1) Service was absolutely amazing; - Our Waitress gave us our Cesar Salad for free - because it was delayed; - Classy! (2) Tremendous Selection of Cocktails, Wines and Drinks; (3) Take a look @ our Pics - Delicious! - We enjoyed tremendously! Views from all over the restaurant are to die for. Very chill place! - Located right on the water! Very nice! You won't be disappointed! - Plenty of Parking across the street in the lot.
